Caring Choice Cottages
Our clients have told us about a need for respite facilities in South Australia. With this in mind, we are proud to announce the opening of two respite house located in the picturesque Adelaide Hills, which provides the perfect setting for short or extended stays.
In addition to the Mt Barker Cottages, we have also opened a third respite house in beautiful Willunga.
We offer flexibility for all clients, including people with a disability of all ages and the elderly.
Services
A full range of services are available at the new Caring Choice Cottages, including: -
- Personal Care: Assistance with showering and other hygiene related tasks.
- Dressing assistance: We can help with pressure stockings, shoes and socks – or anything that causes difficulty.
- Dementia Care: Caring Choice offer expertise in the provision of dementia care, including encouraging leisure and recreational experiences for clients with dementia.
- Social Outings and Companionship: A stay at Caring Choice Cottages will include activities such as visits to the local coffee shop, picnics, and visits to local attractions.
- Transport to scheduled appointments: We will also ensure attendance at scheduled appointments, including medical and allied health care providers.

Tailored Programs
We will develop a tailored program that is appropriate for individual requirements, ensuring that motivational and developmental activities are available. Caring Choice Cottages are guided by our Babysitting Licence and meet the requirements of Licensing and Standards.
Pricing
We have done our best to keep the cost of staying at Caring Choice Cottage to a minimum. Overnight stays are charged at our usual brokerage costs, plus allowances for accommodation, meals, transport, cleaning and miscellaneous items.

All about our Support Staff
We employ a carefully selected team of qualified support staff. All of our staff are thoroughly screened and police checked prior to employment. They are appropriately dressed and always carry photo identification.
We take great care to match our support staff to the cultural needs and interests, as closely as possible.
