Running for Dementia Care
Caring Choice's company founder, Bec French was among the 36,000 participants in this year's City to Bay Fun Run. Bec completed the 12km run in the very satisfactory time of 1 hour, 13 minutes.
Bec entered the run for a very good cause. In fact, she raised nearly $1000 for Alzheimer's SA.
"Knowing that I was able to make a small contribution to Alzheimer's SA certainly helped me to stay motivated prior to, and during the run. It also helped me to cope with the aches and pains after the run!" said Bec.
As a specialist in the provision of dementia care, Caring Choice enjoys a close relationship with Alzheimer's SA. Alzheimer's SA does a tremendous job raising awareness of dementia, as well as offering training and raising funds to hopefully one day find a cure.
