Our Careworkers

At Caring Choice we strive to attract and retain the best available care workers. We employ our workers rather than contracting them.
 
Therefore, they receive superannuation, and are covered under Workcover and other necessary insurances.
 
Our workers have attained a Certificate III in Aged Care or Disability care and have the opportunity to constantly upgrade and maintain their skills through our regular training sessions.
 
We also employ a number of our workers under our traineeship program. Under this program, trainees receive "on the job" training while they complete their studies. Trainees may be young or mature, and we find that this is a great way to bring new people into this industry.
 
We employ care workers that come from a variety of backgrounds, ages and experiences. In doing so, we are able to appropriately match our staff with clients. We also aim to keep our care workers as consistent as possible, so that they are able to develop a professional relationship over time.
 
Our recruitment program operates under the mantra of "recruit for attitude, train for skill". As a result, we tend to employ people that choose this career for "the right reasons". As such, Caring Choice enjoys extremely low staff turnover.
 
Apart from training sessions and workshops, we invite Caring Choice staff to regular social gatherings. This gives everyone an opportunity to share our experiences in a relaxed informal environment.
